we're good to go perfect so I love to start off our presentation with some statistics and down this be what's that we got our from the CDC. I want to inform that these stats are from 2018 2019 year This is before Covid and the numbers are still pretty wild like you know they're shocking even before Covid. So we know that after covid our kids went through a lot so we can imagine the number then but let's start off with 2018 2019. They surveyed students ages 12 through 17 and it's at 15.1% had major depressive episodes. 36.7% of adolescents have persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness it's estimated that 3.6 of 10 to 14 year olds experience an anxiety disorder and depression is estimated to occur among 1.1% of adolescents aged 10 to 14. Let's pay attention to the ages that it's hitting and again this was a survey done in 2018 2019 pre covid. Now today's number I got this from Nami which is the National Alliance on Mental Illness they did a recent survey again ages 12 to 17 about their own mental health and I thought these numbers were I don't even know what word to use but they're up there so it says 64% of teens feel the world is more stressful now then when parents were their age so that the huge number. It's more than half. Then it says about 1in 6 teens reported experiencing specific negative emotions all the time are often. One in four have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. Going over to the orange side, teens are saying they're comfortable talking to mental health talking about mental health but often don't start the conversation. They won't initiate when there's a problem 2/3 say they're open to talking but only 40% talk about with parents about their mental health and only 22% talk with friends 34% seek mental health information from parent which is a good number I mean it's not a huge number but I least they're seeking information from their parents. This worried me a little bit 18% from their friends now if they're going to their friends about you know asking about mental health a lot of the friends don't have that accurate information It also states that 7% percent of teachers or trusted adults outside their family and 6% from social media and among those who have sought information about mental health 95% trust their parents often great 80% trust their teachers and other adult at their school and 78% trust their friends. On the green section teens want schools to play a big role in their mental health and they trust the information they get there and are open to receiving information at school. It says more than two and three agree schools should to teach about what mental health is including where and how to seek treatment which I like to point out that I'm currently our school has what's called Knight period which is a 20 minute block taken out to talk to kids a lot about these topics. We spread them out and so we try to teach our kiddos mental health.  also if there's a 56% say their school think that mental health matters and of course this is a big number 67% think school should offer days off for mental health. Alright so I like to talk a little bit about the pressures that your child might be facing at this stage. Mr. Ruiz did mention you know a lot of our kiddos especially incoming 6th graders are you know hit would like well this is different than too much was going on why do I have so many teachers. That's the cool crowd. They're going through so much and I like to share a little bit about the pressures, the common pressure our kids are going through in the stage of fitting in at school among friends. They're wanting to do well in school and and making good grades. They want to excel in activities such as sports. They want to be able to participate as a member of the family. They're also wanting to work a part-time job now they're they're growing up where they're like why would I want to make my own funny I want to be able to buy my own clothes and buy what I want so they're thinking about working part-time jobs and then also at this stage we do talk a lot about college so a lot of them are beginning to think I'd wait a minute what do I want to do so for preparing for college or their next step in life After High School might be a pressure that they might be going through Mr. Ruiz okay Childhood depression is something that we see quite often at school. A lot of times kids don't know has depression they just feel sad a lot of a lot of days during the week. Depression is categorized as as feelings of sadness or hopelessness over a period of time. Usually it's over 3 months so we know kids go through a lot of emotions at this age especially with this change in a school environment but if if parents notice that their kids are isolating or withdrawing are losing interest in certain things and I'll go over that stuff I didn't get those are fine. They are going through something personal and it may depression okay so what is depression how does that look. Depression is a mental illness that affects people of all ages. Despite sharing the same symptoms as adults, depression in children often goes unnoticed and untreated. Children who are depressed may be misunderstood as being shy, difficult in terms of behavior or misbehaving. Some signs of depression in children like I mentioned earlier are that they may feel sad or irritable most of the time. They may lose interest in friends and activities that they used to participate in. They may have difficulties at school either academically or socially. They may sleep or oversleep or they may not sleep at all so those are things that we need to keep an eye on. They may also eat usually when kids go through depression or anxiety they have two issues when it comes to food. They either over eat because food is comforting for them or they don't eat at all so just just things to keep in mind and also they have constant negative thinking what are some treatments options for depression so therapy is one that most students are referred to if they are experiencing depression or their parents recommend some type of assistance. We usually recommend connecting you to therapy services even either through their own personal medical insurance coverage or if they have Medi-Cal insurance we can help them out at school. Some types of therapy that kids with depression experience are play therapy which means they use toys to communicate this is most common with elementary students. Cognitive therapy which means that the therapist helps a student challenge the negative thoughts that they're experiencing or family therapy. Which would involve the whole family being enrolled in therapy.  These are things that may be used for children to help manage their depression children learn coping and communication skills and emotional management skills through therapy. Therapy is one option. The next option is caregiver support. So caregivers are parents that support children's treatment by taking them to therapy working with the therapist they want to have constant communication with the therapist so they can Implement certain treatment recommendations that the therapist has and and you use those suggestions at home or at school. okay the earlier treatment starts with a better outcome for these doing okay so if you noticed certain symptoms of depression and you are concerned for your child, it's probably a good idea to enroll student to see if anything is anything really serious is going on with him and in some cases even medication is prescribed to any students who suffer from severe depression. Most of the time prescription medicine is prescribed to students alongside with therapy. Research has indicated that therapy and medication are usually the best form of assistance for these students that suffer from severe depression a medication may be prescribed by a physician a psychiatrist or any other provider okay some additional information information about depression. Depression and children often the co-workers meaning that happens with other diagnosis has such as anxiety, ADHD which is an attention deficit disorder or hyper disorder and some other behaviors being recognized and treated children with a family history of depression are more likely to develop depression so research has indicated that mental illness or mental symptoms mental health system can be hereditary. So if a mother or a grandmother had depression or anxiety there's a higher chance students or grandchildren children can have these mental illnesses as well.  Stressful or traumatic event like bullying, parent conflict, divorce, moving, or a death in the family or the birth of a sibling may trigger depression in the students. However, depression can also develop without any of these events so now that we talked about depression another mental health concern an illness that we see with students especially this age group is anxiety so we're going to try to get a better idea of what anxiety is so we can separate anxiety from stress Anxiety is a mental and physical reaction to perceived threat. Anxiety is helpful. It protects from danger and focus our attention on problems but when anxiety is too severe or occurs too frequently it can be debilitating so what that means is anxiety stops people from living a normal life or their best life if it starts to hinder their life that's a big concern. Some symptoms of anxiety are uncontrollable worry, excessive nervousness, sleep problems, muscle tension poor concentration increase heart rate upset stomach or avoidance of fear. Avoiding certain situations that caused them fear. So some types of anxiety are generalized anxiety, phobias or panic.  Anxiety doesn't just mean being nervous there specific types of anxiety.  These are just three of the most common anxieties that we want to discuss today, but there are quite a bit more. So a generalized anxiety disorder means that a person has excessive amount of anxiety or worry in several areas of life such as job responsibility, health, finances or minor concerns like friends family or school. Phobias more like trying to avoid certain situations. So a phobia is a very intense fear of a specific situation or object which is out of proportion to its actual threat. For example a fear of giving speeches or a spirit of fear of spiders could be considered a phobia. Panic, an extreme anxious response when a person experiences a panic attack. During a panic attack the individual experiences numerous physical symptoms rapid heartbeat tightness in the chest they can't breathe they have a hard time breathing we need to sit down they feel dizzy those are some examples of physical symptoms and they feel overwhelmed by this feeling Anxiety there is a cycle of anxiety and that's something I want to review really quickly. Anxiety drives people to avoid certain situations for some if they can avoid situations that scare them When a scary thing is avoided there is an immediate but short-lived sense of relief so they avoid a certain situation and it feel better temporarily but they still have anxiety about the situation in the face in the future most likely they're going to feel even more anxious previously so this creates a harmful cycle of avoidance so as the image shows anxiety a person has anxiety have a situation that stresses them out so they avoid it than that least a short-term relief however in the future they can experience long-term anxiety because they haven't dealt with the issue that's causing them to have an anxiety in the first place okay. Some treatments for anxiety cognitive behavioral therapy as you mentioned before also known as CBT is a very effective treatment for anxiety. During CBT the unhealthy thinking patterns that are identify and challenged so CBT really focuses on cognitive distortion which means that people either catastrophize or they have certain beliefs about a situation that are unrealistic the therapist helps the client challenge that way of thinking oftentimes CBT will also include components of exposure therapy. Exposure therapy refers to a therapist find creating a plan to gradually phase out the anxiety producing situation thus breaking the cycle of avoidance so just like the name says the therapist exposes the client to situations that cause them stress and little by little they expose the client and the client starts to feel better and realize that that certain situation is not as dangerous as they first perceived it. Relaxation skills are also treatments for anxiety such as deep breathing a progressive muscle relaxation exercise mindfulness all these things can provide immediate relief from symptoms of anxiety. with practice and relaxation skills will become a powerful way to manage anxiety at the moment. These skills are important.  They help person tools to battle anxiety whenever they're dealing with that I'd like to pressure medication can also help control uncomfortable symptoms of anxiety medications do not fix the underlying problem as we mentioned earlier of anxiety are typically used with therapy at the same time and that's known to be the best form of treatment for for mental health symptoms or illness. so now we have just a short video of a teen expressing how they realized they had anxiety and how they dealt with it I'm going to go ahead and play it for us Miss Ruan we can't see. okay hold on a sec I think I have to share give me a sec okay I apologize no worries okay let me stop sharing and I'll grab the video instead Do you guys see it yet? well done come on computer Here we go. Alright Don't forget to share your screen again there's so many of us have dealt with my name is Leah. I want to talk to you guys about something that I'm sure so many have dealt with that affect all of us in different ways and in different facets of our life I want to talk about anxiety As teenagers we feel all of this pressure from society from our parents from ourselves and it's so important to open up about it. I've dealt with anxiety for my entire life but it got way worse when I reach middle school and high school all of a sudden I was dealing with all of these new phenomenon and expectations I was stressed about school I was stressed about my friends, I was stressed out my family and in general I felt so overwhelmed with all the time for me that meant really painful stomach ache not being able to sleep not wanting to not feeling like I can tell anyone about what I was going through honestly I felt crazy I was so preoccupied with who is cool who wasn't what I could do to be cool that I lost sight of things that used to be important to me like my family and my friend I remember speciffically one time I had a terrible anxiety attack over the backpack that I had because I thought that it wasn't cool as my mom didn't really understand where I was coming from and honestly I can't really understanding out either the fact that it was the most real thing in world to me that backpack stood for so much more than just what I was carrying my books in it stood my social status the perception that my peers had of me and the perception that I had of myself now looking back I can realize that some of the things that I do feeling anxiety over we're honestly pretty trivial but in the moment it felt like the biggest things in my life social media also affected me in ways that weren't logical or realistic I was obsessed with how many likes I was getting how many followers I had a who was liking my photos who wasn't who was commenting. It felt so painful anxiety isn't normal and healthy part of everyone's lives but when it's taking over your daily activities and your daily thoughts it's becoming a big problem and that's what happened to me I I don't think she can hear it as I think she is probably having computer issues I have the presentation on my computer should I just take over? see if you can share it okay we can see it okay so at this time I'm sure miss Ruan will log back in a few minutes she's having computer issues at this time we'd like to open it up to see if you have any questions mr. Gomez regarding what you seen so far about anxiety and depression and the stresses that middle kids go through this is really informative and really helpful and I think one of the things, it's not a question in general but our observation like as parents what we are seeing is that there's a lot of impact internet and social media is having on kids nowadays like it seems like their whole lives revolve around social media and things to see on the internet and we had to spend a lot of time with our daughter to explain to her that all that she sees on the internet is not the truth. think we are all struggling with and into this world, but this was really good information and the the symptoms of which points towards a possibility of a depression and we haven't observed in now. but it's good to know and be aware of as she gets into her adolescence thank you for sharing your observations. Social media is a big big big thing that contribute to a student's poor mental health and we know how popular it is in middle school and high school and at least to a lot of problems so we really recommend to a lot of parents that they try to educate their kids on proper use of social media and if they can hold off on social media until they're a little older and more mature it's always the best thing and and something that we recommend highly to parents because a lot of things you said a lot of things. the media are not true but these kids think it's true and that's what causes a lot of problems or I can stir up a lot of drama and gossip and they bring that stuff to school the next day and then instead of learning they're wasting their time discussing no issues that are as important as a school matter that's true so we're at the halfway point of where presentation we have a few more slides to go over and then we'll we'll be done by 3, so just sharing his observations about I'm just his daughter and how social media has is a big issue at the stage and how he's the grateful that we discussed anxiety and depression so you can be aware of the concerns and symptoms. this is very much right now we're seeing the most is anxiety I don't know if you guys talked about that that's like the main thing we have a lot of kiddos and and at this age group Middle School they really don't know how to deal with it and so Mr. Ruiz and I when we have them come in we're doing breathing techniques with them, we are teaching them how to use you know like stress balls so that when they're in the moment and they need a relax they don't have time to get out and take a breather than they can utilize these little gadgets to kind of bring them back and so yeah this is what we're seeing the most right now are we good all right so what are some things that families can do to help manage that you can even see the screen family can do to help their kids manage stress so it's important to remember that stress is not a bad thing you know stress can be helpful at times we can motivate us toward the solving certain problem however it's important to refrain which means to review it and going to change the way we look at certain situations especially when it comes to stress so we won't get overwhelmed by it. So we have to change our way of thinking when it comes to stress. Talking about your problems is a really great tool especially as parents and we know it as counselors we use this all the time talking to the kids help him, helps them calm down because they may be stressed about situation with their friend situations about their homework or situations at home on whatever the case may be but when they talk about it with us they verbalize their feelings and are able to feel better and the reason for that is because they release hormones in your body to not feel as stressed as you can imagine the kid who stressed and has all these thoughts in their head and who's tense and body's reactions certain way upon telling us their concerns of course you are going to feel more at ease and we are there to support them anyway we can that's a big thing that parents can do as well talk to their kids another one is to prioritize responsibilities this is a great thing because it helps reduce stress and it helps kids manage there time better so how do you do this you kids can do this by focusing on the small task first they can focus on completing small tasks first so they can get those out of the way, so they can have more time for the larger responsibilities other things that they can do is focus on basic needs like eating well having a healthy sleep schedule exercising and any other form of self-care. Self-care is very important having balance in life this is a great thing because that I like to tell my kids you can't just study all the time and not have time for your friends or you can just study all the time not make time for your family.  It has to be a good balance. So this is a great tool so we can teach kids that they can use later on in life. they balance time and energy between several areas such as friends, school, personal family can I interject real quick and I have 3 of my own I have my oldest who is 12 years old and so when Mr. Ruiz is talking about these things the one that sticks out to me right now is talk about your problems on I've made it a mission with my kiddos when I see them and I come home I ask how was your day what was your highlight of the day what what was something that happened that you were just upset about and because when we're not asking questions you know we don't then they won't tell her they won't tell us what is happening in a lot of times we need to build these type of relationships with our kiddos because if they're not letting you know what's happening there probably also not letting us know what's happening and so I've realized there's a little incident my daughter went through yesterday and you know my husband was talking to her about things he wanted her to get done but I noticed in her face there was something wrong because I already know how I built that rapport with her and so I told my husband give her a break give her a five minute break and pulled him to the side and she's going to tell us what happened cuz she's not taking what you're saying for just take a breather and so truly it happened maybe 10 minutes later she comes with the little slip but you know informing us of something that occurred and my husband was like you're right there was something wrong you know and so we need to really start talking to our kids finding out how their day was what was something that happened you know I'm asking them open ended questions so that they have to give us information so this is very very important if they just don't forget some of the things that can help us with management are no setting time aside themselves just focusing on school or sports or any other activities can become overwhelming for the kids so they need time to rest too and that Dad can take the form of no staying away from computers or TV or phone just time for themselves to relax and have fun without any interruptions and lastly keep things in perspective it's important for students to take a step back and think about how important the things that are stressing them really are in in the broader scheme of things and then if I may interrupt a we have another parent who I admitted but I am not sure if they were connected so I'll just keep watching the chat because I don't see them on here now I don't see them but I did admit. it is let me try that again okay Miss Guzman can you hear us? Ms. Guzman if you're able to hear us I just want to know if you need translation so that we could provide that for you or if you're good with English okay perfect just wanted to make sure and then when you have a chance Miss Guzman when you open your chat there is a link for the sign in if you wouldn't mind taking a few minutes to fill it out so that way I can have your email address and send you the resources from this meeting we are a little bit halfway through the meeting so we will be concluding and finishing up the meeting in a few minutes but I am recording the meeting and once the recording is available we will make sure to post it on our school website okay so I think we're good to go awesome so I just kind of want to piggyback off of what Mr. Ruiz was saying so more wanting to talk about paths to improve your adolescent Health again building their confidence and self esteem it's great to praise them and you let's be specific about praising them right so if they came home and you know they show you an award for being excellent in math than be specific that you know I'm so excited I'm so happy that you're doing so well in math you know they want to hear what you're specifically proud of a lot of times when I do know you're awesome but they don't know why why are you why do you say that they're awesome so let's be specific when trying to encourage them and build their confidence and then a big thing is again spend time with them and let them know how much you value them a lot of times our kiddos have gone through something they're not sharing but you know they're off to take them out for ice cream that night do something that they're like what wait what what's this you know and why is my dad my mom taking me out for you know in and talk to them about you know how much you're interested of how their day went and a lot of times as you guys saw on the steps kids will open up to parents you know supporting them emotionally encourage them to talk to you listen and help them understand their feelings a lot of times at this age group they don't know how to control their emotions they don't know how to control the anger you know and and they need us you know a lot of time when Mr. Ruiz and I get our kiddos they are  stressed out, they are angry we bring them in, sit them down and we start helping them breathe and I realized instantly when we do those breathing techniques with them these come in crying and you know that they're you know lost in their emotions and as soon as we start doing those breathing techniques to calm down and quickly the crying stops and then they're ready to verbalize what had happened and so it's it's just learning to just listen to them a lot of times too we want to come in and give them you know tell them what you know how how they need to behave or how they you do but sometimes they just but we want to give them advice, but sometimes they want us to just listen to them first before we interject with you know all right If I can just add something I think, us as counselors we do this quite a bit I think parents can also do this also we are like models for these students so they look to us for guidance and that includes how we react to their situation how do you react to others so they look up to us so it's important for us to model proper behavior with them so if they do something wrong if if they are having a bad day or if they feel anxious or depressed they're going to look for us for guidance and for support it's important to to be mindful of how we react to them because they're taking everything in and they're seeing everything and if they see us we have to turn away they're going to think that's normal and and that's what we don't want we want to teach him the skills that are going to help him in life to be successful. Help them cope with whatever they're going through and they look for us for guidance so I just want to remind parents about that and Ok, so providing them Safety and Security that means giving them unconditional love maintaining routines is what Mr. Ruiz was talking about so they feel secure so having these routines and then feeling unconditionally loved you know it it's safety for them you know and it improves their mental state of mine and so make sure they know that home is a safe place for them okay and then also teaching them resiliency so teach your child how to make it through the tough times no because we don't want to sit and as parents if we don't want to shelter them so much that they you know that they really don't know what life really is you know because once they hit 18 and we know they're headed out to college or they're headed out on their own they're not going to know how to handle and hope life with with life situations and so we want to make sure that when they are experiencing something tough we're not there to shelter them but to allow them to go through the experience but us guiding them as they go through their their process and so yes help them cope with change manage stress and learn from setbacks because we're all going to experience them no one is excused from not experiencing you know how what life throws at us all right so the AACAP suggest the following ways for parents to prepare for their child's teenage years so this is for parents.  Provide a safe and loving home environment monitor your teen's social media this one's a big one parents we're seeing stole so much happening in social media it's damaging damaging to our kiddos whether they're using social media to I don't really know how this gaming world is but I know that so much happens through their you know Tik-Tok Facebook Instagram all of these so much happens and what makes us that as councillors is that a lot of our parents have we are unaware of what is happening in their children's social media also create an atmosphere of honesty trust and respect is important for them allow age-appropriate independent assertiveness K also develop a relationship that encouraged courage is your team to talk to you when he or she is upset teach responsibility for your teens belong names and yours teach basic responsibility for household chore this one the big one a lot of the kids tell us if I don't have responsibilities at home teaching responsibilities at home and it just helps mental health even though we may not see how but it because it's teaching them responsibility and also don't forget the importance of rules team still need rules that affect their house safety and education make rules me to understand when you make a rule be sure the reasons for it are clear okay and then last listen to your child's concerns opinions and request if you can compromise do so okay meet each other halfway but again it it's all depending on you know what you want the outcome to be for both you and your child an admin on the American Pediatric Associate recommend 2 hours of screen time which increase social media for teens for children and teens that to ours and cruise TV phone computer use so they only suggest two hours and hold a dozen of course that doesn't include homework they're going to be on the computer for homework but other than homework 2 hours we know sometimes kids go straight home from school and are on social media are playing video games are free fortnite or Call of Duty the whole eaten and that is not great because that mess it up with their school responsibilities and also it doesn't allow them to interact with your parents or a personal Leon on the personal level if they play too close to to bedtime that can disrupt your sweet so just something you're not there for her parents very very true and then again we want you guys to stay alert on the warning signs okay and this could signify that your child is having issues okay so I had to take it it if your child is agitated or Restless okay if there's a weight loss or weight gain if you're noticing that your child all of a sudden has a drop in their grades performing poorly trouble concentrating you know you're talking your kiddos most of the time when we're talking to our kids were able to see if they're engaged or they're somewhere else if they're not engaged and you know that that's not typical behavior that could be of concern I'm going feelings of sadness I'm not caring about people and things lack of motivation if you notice that there is been lately like fatigue loss of energy and lack of interest in activities like you say you know I have one of my kiddos who loves football and if I noticed out of a sudden he doesn't want to go to practice he doesn't want to play you know and I know that that's not him then. could be a warning sign for me low self-esteem is a big one when you notice that they're very negative negative towards themselves you know. To be of concern trumpet with it having trouble falling asleep run-ins with the law for some of them who are you know are doing things out there breaking the law if you know and you know that this is not like your kiddo then something's wrong and I really felt that this is important you know I love to communicate with my children's Pediatrician on for guidance when I know that there's things going on so things that you can ask your kiddos pediatricians is you know what can I do to keep my teenage in my teenager emotionally healthy and they can give you suggestions you can ask is my teenagers Behavior normal okay and you let them know the list of things that I've been noticing what are what what signs should I look for if I think my teeth there might be having problems maybe you know if you have issues yourself you can tell the pediatrician look I have low self-esteem or I'm depressed whatever you might be facing is my child more likely to develop those same problems does my teenager need to see a therapist or psychiatrist or does my teenager need medicine okay and last will my teenager grow out of these behaviors okay so a lot of times our doctors can answer these questions or they might feel that it's important to connect your kiddo with therapy alright so do we have any questions at this moment I have one question in the last Lady you mentioned about being able to ask those questions to the pediatrician so is it any normal pediatrician or like do we have to Lego Friend a specialist for any consultation feels that you know sometimes do you know what this is the face your child looks healthy sometimes they take it upon themselves to talk to our kiddos and kind of check in with them about what's happening in my experience what I've seen and they will be the ones to guide you after and say you know what I am thinking your kiddo I should see a therapist and sometimes they'll be able to give you the information to connect you to a therapist and if they make that suggestion and but they don't give you a formation on a therapist you can always go back to your school and kind of figure things out with a counselor and see if if the school has you know therapist there that can help out but usually pediatricians can help hide you in in what steps to take next parents talk to the primary care physician so this is a pediatrician the position who knows your child who has been working with your child so you want to say important information or ask questions to that pediatrician if for some reason you don't get feedback that you were looking for you can always get a second opinion and that's another pediatrician as well. You thank you any more questions all right so lastly we just wanted to share with you the information if it's easier for you to take a picture I have for you guys to be able to get ahold of her I'm also you know if you're having concerns and and we need you want to ask questions where that's why we're there that's why I work counselor so do we want to make our information available to you guys so that guys can get back to us and and we can help answer some of these questions if not guide you to the right people that can we're here for parents and students is try to be available to him as much as possible yes we have our extensive knowledge and helping kids and we have her master's degrees but we may not know everything we may not have all the answers but we will definitely look for answered and help you as best as we can and getting resources you and your family may need okay thank you everybody thank you counselor for this wonderful presentation this incredible information thank you parents so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to join us them in this meeting was mentioned earlier when we opened up this meeting AA meeting in the series of two meeting of this is the first one and then we will be having a second meeting continuing on with the topic of mental health I did put in the chat that we need an evaluation be completed so if you can open up the chat and then click on the Blue Link there's an evaluation there so that you can fill that out and that's going to help us to really take a look at what are your needs what other questions you have so that we can structure the next you know to meet your needs and so that that input in that feedback that you provide for us is going to help us to then structure that the 2nd meeting is that's the follow-up to this presentation so the next meeting that we have let me see if I can pull it out for my calendar is I believe in February and it is yes it is 328 the February 28th parents please make a note of that in your calendars it is at the same time at 5:30 it will be through this link again will keep the same link will get information out Wednesday closer to the date and invite other parents to get the word out help us to spread the word I think the more parents know the more power they're going to have to be able to help their their students and their their child and if it takes King right where Village so it takes the team so we need you as much as you need us it's a chain to wear Village together and helping raise your children and what we want is healthy, happy children that are trying their best right on the Democrats emotionally mentally so please spread the word let other people know we do our best to get the word out and just has been used but when I think when a parent hear directly from you from your experience but you were in this meeting that you'd rather just knowledge I think it has more power if you personally invite them so please help us spread the word and we hope to see that you bring one or two parents the next time including yourself I do have your emails if you completed the sign is so what I'm going to do with the councillors gave me a lot of resources to share with you and because we're on this platform I am going to email it to you now if you prefer you come by school and pick it up instead of seeing it electronically you actually want it.
